As inaugural Satori Capital honorees, each of five female-led startups has been awarded $1,000 that will allow them to participate in TechFW’s spring cohort of ThinkLab, a non-seed accelerator program.
The funding comes as a partnership between the Texas-based, multi-strategy investment firm, Satori Capital and the Fort Worth-based accelerator and incubator for technology companies, TechFW. The awards provide education, coaching, mentoring and networking with entrepreneurial leaders, and the training to potentially take their ideas to market.
Among this inaugural group of honorees is Ibby Roscoe of Allbodies Collective, Palmira Cumbo of Aqua Luci, Mystica Jacob of DEI Services, Angela Keener of Job Baby, and Abby Mayer of Small Kindness.
The startups range from companies that connect jobs to employees and companies that reduce the friction for finding gift cards from local, small businesses, to an engineer and her solar-powered water purification system for an underserved population, and another founder who is improving healthcare for women and non-binary individuals.
“We’re ecstatic to be working with these amazing founders,” said Hayden Blackburn, Executive Director of TechFW. “It is an honor to partner with Satori Capital and support these female founders as they invest their efforts into the foundations of their technology ventures and skill development. Congratulations to all.”
