First Look: Atlanta-based Shared Workspace Provider Roam Opens Grandscape Location

Roam in Grandscape is the company's eighth location and the first outside the Atlanta metropolitan area, the company said. The Colony location—Roam’s largest workplace—offers 17 luxury meeting spaces and 70 private offices complemented by a member-only shared workspace.

Atlanta-based shared work and meeting space provider Roam has opened a 28,000-square-foot location at the Grandscape development in The Colony, north of Dallas.

It’s Roam’s eighth location and the first outside the Atlanta metropolitan area, the company said. The Colony location—Roam’s largest workplace—is at 5752 Grandscape Blvd, Suite 225. The company was founded in 2008.

“In a world struggling to solve vacant corporate offices and isolating work from home environments, Roam offers thoughtfully designed workspaces and experiences that redefine the office as a desirable destination for collaboration and inspiration,” Roam CEO Peyton Day said in a statement. “We’re excited to open our first Texas location in the impressive Grandscape development and to bring our fun approach to work and meetings to the Dallas-Fort Worth community.”

Roam in Grandscape features 17 luxury meeting spaces and 70 private offices complemented by a member-only shared workspace featuring ample table, lounge, and booth seating, the company said.

New concepts at the location include a speakeasy-inspired meeting room complete with a secret hidden entry, a training room designed to pay tribute to Roam’s flagship Texas location, and its first-ever outdoor terrace for an alfresco workday.

The location has an onsite coffee bar, full-service catering, business-class Wi-Fi, printing services, and more. The company said it’s a good location for Dallas-area professionals, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies alike.

The company will host a free opening celebration at Roam in Grandscape from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 4. It will feature private tours of the workspace, as well as drinks, hors d’oeuvres, networking opportunities, and giveaways.
