Cytracom Adds MSP Expert as SVP of Sales, Revenue Operations

MSPs face a choice: adjust to channel changes or fail, according to new Cytracom SVP Nikhil Harsh. "It's of utmost importance for MSPs to move beyond legacy firewalls and offer a complete managed security practice to methodically grow and maintain their business," he says.

Nikhil Harsh has been appointed senior vice president of sales and revenue operations by Cytracom, an Allen-based provider of products and services for managed service providers (MSPs).

Harsh brings a background well aligned with Cytracom’s growth objectives, the company said in a news release. The exec has an extensive background in helping MSPs roll out and standardize their tech stacks on best-in-class solutions such as PSA, RMM, BCDR, networking, and others.

Cytracom COO John Tippett says the addition of Harsh to its leadership team “fortifies our unyielding dedication to MSPs.”

His experience bolsters the company’s support for partners and will accelerate Cytracom’s ability to help them drive value, Tippett noted. As technical solutions evolve rapidly, “our partners must receive exceptional support to help sell these solutions and grow their businesses while connecting and securing their clients,” he said in a statement.

Cytracom said Harsh’s credentials speak to his capability and that what stands out is his experience in the MSP channel.

As a senior leader of Datto, Harsh played a pivotal role in its exponential growth through revenue operations management, sales, partner success management, and overseeing several strategic acquisitions.

“It is of utmost importance for MSPs to move beyond legacy firewalls and offer a complete managed security practice to methodically grow and maintain their business. To remain competitive and keep their clients protected, they need enterprise-grade solutions,” Harsh said in the news release.

MSPs face a choice to adjust to channel changes or fail, Harsh noted.

“Cytracom’s ControlOne platform offers a unique solution in the market, and I’m excited for the opportunity ahead. Further, the strategic integration of security and unified communications is a stand-out differentiator in the managed services market,” Harsh said.

Founder and CEO Zane Conkle said the company is committed “to pushing the boundaries on the technology available to our partners by driving innovation across the MSP channel.”

Conkle added: “Our rapid growth is a testament to the needs in the market, as well as our unique ability to meet those needs with transformative solutions. Harsh joining the team further illustrates our ability to attract top talent and accelerate our pace of development. Through our growth, we continue to pursue our mission of connecting the modern workforce.”

Founded in 2008, Cytracom said it’s focused on MSPs. With the addition of Harsh to the team, the company said that it is reinforcing its mission to lead the MSP-centric services landscape.

Cytracom said it delivers infrastructure software purpose-built to empower managed service providers with cloud solutions that connect and secure both traditional and hybrid workforces.
