The owners of Roots Coffeehouse are bringing a coffee shop and coworking concept to Fort Worth’s Near Southside, according to Fort Worth, Texas magazine.
Matt and Janice Townsend’s “ethically-sourced” and community-entrenched craft coffee shop debuted in North Richland Hills in 2009. Their second Roots Coffeehouse location off Bryan Avenue in Fort Worth’s South Main Urban Village will include a two-story open-office coworking space called Criterion CoWorking. Construction is expected to begin this spring.
“We hope to create a collaborative workspace for local entrepreneurs wanting to work in community,” Janice Townsend told the magazine.
