Arcis' founder and CEO, Blake Walker, has been called "the Jeff Bezos of the golf industry" for starting his company in 2013 when golf was in a deep decline, betting big on the comeback that has happened since, and adding new features, tech, and attractions. Last month Arcis acquired four Phil Mickelson golf properties in Arizona; in early September it purchased The Golf Club at Twin Creeks in Allen, Texas. With Gentle Creek, it now has 66 golf properties under management, including 21 in Texas and 12 in Dallas-Fort Worth.
