Texas Is Ranked the No. 1 State in the U.S. for Gamers

According to a new study by Cribbage Online, the Lone Star State snagged the title of best state for gamers by having the highest number of different internet providers, the ninth-best internet speeds on average, the eighth-highest percentage of the population with access to fiber optic broadband, and just a single "gaming-related convention" shy of Florida's No. 1 ranking in that category for 2023-2028.

Dallas’ Evoque Data Center Solutions Closes Acquisition of Cyxtera

Evoque, a Dallas-based provider of comprehensive colocation, connectivity, and infrastructure solutions, has completed its previously announced acquisition of Cyxtera’s data center portfolio.

Evoque and Florida-based Cyxtera will combine to form a leading data center company with more than 50 locations, mostly in North America. No financial details were released.

“Combining Evoque and Cyxtera is a strategic step that aligns seamlessly with our vision for data infrastructure investments,” Udhay Mathialagan, board chair at Evoque and CEO, Global Data Centers, Brookfield Infrastructure, said in a statement....
