FW Museum of Science, History Plans Digital Update

Celebrating its 75th anniversary, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History announced plans to turn the museum into a “hub of digital learning.”

The museum will renovate exhibits, galleries, and the Noble Planetarium, and The Omni Theater will be renovated and upgraded to make it a more interactive experience.

Dallas-based womenswear brand Tishcox is partnering with a local nonprofit to help create jobs, CultureMap Dallas reported.

Tishcox is outsourcing production to the Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind, where blind and visually-impaired workers will sew the line’s high-end garments, CultureMap said.

Founder Tish Cox’s brand of blouses, dresses, skirts and other apparel was started in 2010 after a friend asked here to make a dress for an event, CultureMap said....
