Boyden Names New Managing Partner to Lead Dallas Office

San Francisco-based global leadership and talent advisory firm Boyden United States has named Issy Perez as a managing partner. He'll head the firm's Dallas office and serve as leader of the firm’s global consumer & retail practice.

San Francisco-based global leadership and talent advisory firm Boyden United States has added Issy Perez as managing partner, head of the Dallas office and leader of the firm’s global consumer & retail practice.

Dallas is an important, diversified market for Boyden and is its second office in Texas, along with one in Houston, the firm said.

As global practice leader, consumer & retail, the firm said Perez will support its growth and engagement with clients in consumer packaged goods, retail & apparel, luxury, travel, hospitality & leisure, consumer digital, and consumer health.

Boyden said that as sustainability, digital developments, and geopolitics drive rapid structural change, this is redefining leadership roles, board profiles, and team interaction.

The firm said it meets the needs of multinationals, private, family-owned, and private equity-backed businesses via a suite of services across the talent life cycle. Its expertise, proprietary frameworks, and sector insight are delivered through leadership consulting, interim management, and executive search, Boyden said.

Strong demand in executive search

Boyden United States said it has seen significant growth this year with marquee hires driven by a strong demand in executive search and leadership consulting and partner promotions across the region.

Perez brings more than 25 years of experience in the consumer industry and 10 years of experience in global executive search to his new role. Perez has contributed to the success of some of the world’s leading CPG companies and his wealth of commercial expertise helps him understand client needs.

Previously, Perez was managing director, consumer practice at a top-10 global talent advisory firm.

He was president, Britvic North America; group vice president, sales innovation at PepsiCo/Frito Lay; and general manager, Central America, at Kraft Foods/Nabisco Biscuit Co. Perez began his career with Black & Decker and Procter & Gamble.

Boyden has more than 70 offices in over 45 countries.
