In November, a two-day celebration of Texas’ future called The Edge of Texas will take place in downtown Dallas, and tickets have just gone on sale.
Produced by Texas Monthly and presented by VisitDallas, the inaugural event begins Nov. 10 at the Fashion Industry Gallery, featuring exclusive pop-up lounges designed by leading creatives such as Sheila Youngblood; dishes by Texas chefs including Dallas-based Junior Borges; and a mix of tunes from DJ Peligrosa amidst visuals by Cruz Ortiz, according to a release. Tickets for the first day begin at $85.
The celebration continues Nov. 11 at The Joule and The Eye. The “immersive day” will consist of live interviews and discussions about what Texas’ future holds led by Texas Monthly editors. Tickets for the day of storytelling are $150 with valet parking and an all-day pass to the discussions.
“As a cosmopolitan city that’s evolving and reinventing itself at every turn, Dallas is the ideal city to host The Edge of Texas.”
Frank Librio
The event wraps up the evening of Nov. 11 at the Longhorn Ballroom with tent lounges, a “futuristic” campfire, a concert, and cooking by Mathew Peters, according to the release. Tickets for the event’s grand finale begin at $95.
“As a cosmopolitan city that’s evolving and reinventing itself at every turn, Dallas is the ideal city to host The Edge of Texas,” said Frank Librio, chief marketing officer of VisitDallas.
“From pioneering chefs; the center of arts, culture, and fashion in the Southwest; a city of champions in professional sports; to medical breakthroughs and more —Dallas is a city that also pushes boundaries, exploring the edge of what a modern city can accomplish.”
