In January, Landsea Homes entered the Dallas-Fort Worth region and broadened its Texas footprint by acquiring Dallas-based homebuilder Antares Homes.

Landsea said that Grimes brings more than 20 years of success in competitive sales and marketing in the real estate industry, primarily in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. At Landsea, he will oversee sales and marketing initiatives for the company in one of the fastest-developing cities in the nation.

Before joining Landsea, Grimes served in various sales and marketing leadership positions at other reputable homebuilding companies such as Mattamy Homes, Lennar Homes, and Mercedes Homes.

“I’m thrilled to join the leading team at Landsea Homes and contribute to the company’s ongoing growth in the Dallas-Fort Worth region,” Grimes said in a statement. “I look forward to the incredible opportunities and experiences this new position will bring as well as helping Landsea Homes become a leading homebuilder in the state.”

Landsea Homes designs and builds “best-in-class” homes and sustainable master-planned communities in some of the nation’s most desirable markets.

It has developed homes and communities in New York, Boston, New Jersey, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Texas, and throughout California in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, and Orange County. Landsea Homes was named the Green Home Builder 2023 Builder of the Year, after being named the 2022 winner of the Builder of the Year award, presented by BUILDER magazine, in recognition of a historical year of transformation.
