Pidathala, founder of Plano-based IT engineering company Tekwings, will merge its data platforms division with three other companies to establish a newly formed entity called Kanectify.
The four-company merger includes Plano-based Bio 9 Ventures’ international healthcare IT division, Frisco-based Cloud N Cluster, a cloud technology solutions provider, and Santanish, a next-gen healthcare platform architecture company.
Pidathala emphasized the power of horizontal thinking in driving industry innovation in a news release. “The merger will significantly advance our market position by broadening our portfolio of healthcare IT solutions and market reach,” he said in a news release.
Kanectify will converge smart connected products, intelligenct health solutions, platform engineering, and extended reality to deliver more value for patients, manufacturers, payers, and providers around the world, per the release.

Paul Quinn College President Michael Sorrell has a vision for a global network of Urban Work Colleges that take aim at intergenerational poverty and "smash it." The first one opened in Plano in 2018. Accepting a leadership award from the Collin County Business Alliance, Sorrell asked his staff and students to stand up. Why?
