Fifty Dallas-Fort Worth area artists spent nearly 50 hours shooting the “Hallelujah” music video in hopes of spreading the Hallelujah Project’s message, ‘Love Will Win,’ according to the group’s Facebook page.
Ashley White, who started the movement, told The Dallas Morning News, the project is “an effort to unite people and bring forth the message of hope and encouragement in this time of need.”
It all started with a recent Facebook post asking for help in shooting a “Hallelujah” music video. Hundreds of people are now following the project on Facebook.
The video was filmed around Elmwood and Oak Cliff, the Tyler Dart Station, and Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge with the recording done in a room in White’s home with hushed actors in the next room, according to The News.
A recording of the song is expected to be released soon on iTunes. Money being raised through the project will be donated to various charities.
