Leaders in the global community of unmanned systems —  including drones and robots — are coming together next week in Dallas to discuss the future of that industry.

The Arlington, Virginia-based Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, will be hosting XPONENTIAL May 8-11 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in downtown Dallas. Events will include educational sessions, interactive discussions, networking receptions, and more. Experts will discuss technologies, trends, and regulatory moves that will drive revenue and innovation in the industry.

“We are entering a period of rapid, unprecedented growth in the unmanned systems industry.”
Brian Wynne

“We are entering a period of rapid, unprecedented growth in the unmanned systems industry,” Brian Wynne, president and CEO of AUVSI, said in a release. “At XPONENTIAL, we have gathered the industry’s thought leaders, along with innovators across various vertical markets who have abundant experience leveraging the power of unmanned systems to revolutionize their sectors”

He said attendees will gain valuable insight and “learn from real-world case studies and get a glimpse of the future.”

The conference’s program will be divided into three tracks — policy, technology, and business solutions.

XPONENTIAL also will host the Startup Showdown, in which 65 startups have submitted products and services in a variety of applications.

Sixteen semifinalists will compete in a closed, knockout round with three finalists competing in the live round. Each finalist will be given six minutes to make final presentations, followed by six minutes of questions and answers. Judges will then determine the winner of the competition.

More than 20 different industries will be featured at XPONENTIAL.
