WeInfuse Marks 10th Anniversary With Triple-Digit Growth and a Partnership Playbook

Celebrating its “Golden Decade,” the Dallas- and Austin-based medical software provider climbed to its highest-ever Inc. 5000 ranking and notched its fourth straight year on the Longhorn 100.

Ten years after its launch, Dallas- and Austin-based medical software provider WeInfuse has climbed to its highest-ever ranking on the Inc. 5000. Part of the growth equation: lean on partnerships to incorporate tech from other companies.

“Our goal is for WeInfuse to be the system of record and technology backbone for infusion providers and pharmacies — not necessarily to build every piece of technology they will ever use,” Reece Norris, co-founder, president and chief operating officer, told Dallas Innovates.

Norris said WeInfuse seeks to retain core capabilities of its software platform, such as scheduling, inventory and claims management. But beyond those capabilities, the company turns to partners’ technology.

For instance, WeInfuse recently connected its clinical and claims workflows to technology and hardware from New Jersey-based 4U Medical. Offerings from 4U Medical include check-in kiosks and tablets, and electronic insurance validation.

“Ultimately, we want our clients to have fewer disconnected systems and less duplicate data entry,” Norris said.

Making the Inc. 5000 and Longhorn 100

Tech partnerships contribute to the company’s noteworthy trajectory.

WeInfuse landed on this year’s Inc. 5000 list of the country’s fastest-growing private companies. WeInfuse appeared at No. 1,834 with a 189% growth rate from 2023 to 2025. That’s the highest ranking for WeInfuse since it debuted on the Inc. 5000 in 2023.

The company’s Dallas office primarily handles sales, marketing and finance matters, Norris said. The Austin office works mostly on software development and client success.

Also in 2026, WeInfuse accomplished the same four-in-a-row streak in the Texas Exes’ Longhorn 100 program. The program recognizes the 100 fastest-growing businesses founded, owned or led by University of Texas at Austin alumni. WeInfuse ranked 41st this year.

Norris received a UT law degree in 2006. Josh Newman, the chief financial officer, earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from UT in 2003.

Norris said the Longhorn 100 and Inc. 5000 recognition aligns with a company mantra: “Consistency compounds.”

He declined to provide WeInfuse’s total revenue. But Norris said the company expects to post roughly 50% year-over-year growth in 2026.

The ‘Golden Decade’

WeInfuse calls its first 10 years in business the “Golden Decade.” Today, more than 1,500 infusion centers and pharmacies in the U.S. use WeInfuse software, up from more than 625 in 2023.

“WeInfuse has experienced tremendous growth over the last several years, but we’ve been intentional about growing responsibly,” Norris said.

Three years ago, WeInfuse gained an undisclosed amount of growth funding from Curewell Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm. The firm invests in North American health care companies.

Acquisitions and integrations on the table

Since the Curewell investment, WeInfuse has expanded its workforce to 80, Norris said. It also built out claims management capabilities, added home infusion and specialty pharmacies to its offerings. Further, it rebuilt its RxToolKit clinical and safety education software, and launched InfuseTrack. InfuseTrack helps infusion providers manage pumps, medical equipment and certifications.

WeInfuse won’t need to raise more capital to execute its strategy, said Norris. But the company would consider acquisitions beyond its 2022 purchase of RxToolKit. In addition, WeInfuse sees opportunities to accelerate its roadmap through automation, AI, improved data connectivity and tech integrations, he said.

“The next frontier is making  … workflows increasingly connected, intelligent and automated,” Norris said. “There are still far too many manual processes involved in getting a patient from referral to treatment to payment.”
