Unreasonable Labs North Texas has announced the cohort on 10 social enterprises that will go through its first-ever business model validation program that will run Sept. 12-16 at The Grove in Dallas.
The enterprises — Activate World, Narify, CoBrilliant Communications, Renegades of Code, Repair Haven, Nectar Technologies, Crowd Industrial, Target Evolution, The Butler’s Pantry Texas, and The Great Seed Bomb — will have the chance to build relationships with a carefully selected group of facilitators and mentors that include experts from the Dallas-Fort Worth social impact community.
They include: Bob Wright, Michael Sitarzewski, Kim O’Neill, Robert Appel, Cynthia Nevels, Ryan Gray, Scott Christiansen of C&R Law, Sharon Lyle, Kyle Lukianuk, and others, Unreasonable Labs said in a release.

“Through their partnership with The Grove, Unreasonable Labs North Texas is going to provide valuable resources and tools for established and aspiring social entrepreneurs in the North Texas region,” Lukianuk, director of business development for the Dallas-based impact investment firm Good Returns Group, said in a release. “I’m excited to witness the impact that will be generated as a result of this lab and look forward to the continued growth of social enterprise in the DFW area.”
He added: “An an alumnus of Unreasonable Labs, I’ve witnessed first hand the value that is generated by the Unreasonable Institute and its team.”
This first lab is a pilot intended to show the need for Unreasonable Labs in the Dallas social impact community, the release said.
After the first lab, The Grove team plans to launch a one-year, seven-lab series that will operate as a comprehensive accelerator for social enterprises in 2017, the release said.
Unreasonable Institute is a global player in entrepreneurial education.
