TPG-Backed Digital.ai Makes Two Acquisitions to Help Companies Reach ‘Digital Nirvana’

In April, three enterprises combined to form Plano-based Digital.ai. The new company has now made two acquisitions to solidify its platform with the most advanced AI-powered analytics and quality capabilities.

Plano-based Digital.ai, which says it has created the first intelligent Value Stream Platform, announced two strategic acquisitions. Both companies will help bring AI-powered business analytics and secure testing capabilities to Digital.ai’s platform.

Both acquisitions—Numerify, an AI analytics solutions firm, and Experitest, a continuous quality provider—were backed by Fort Worth-headquartered TPG Capital. The goal is to make Digital.ai the most “complete end-to-end value stream management (VSM) solution in the industry.”

The announcement comes at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic has amplified the need for strong digital operations. Most enterprises across industries have started to accelerate digital transformation initiatives, according to Ashok Reddy, CEO of Digital.ai.

That’s where Digital.ai comes in: The software company wants to help Global 5000 companies better create, measure, deliver, secure, and improve their digital products. It’s all about digital transformation and experiences that customers can trust, which the company is calling “digital nirvana.”

“The additions of Numerify and Experitest to Digital.ai enhance our ability to help these organizations rapidly increase agility and meet ever-changing customer and market demand without sacrificing quality or security,” Reddy said. “We welcome the Numerify and Experitest teams to the Digital.ai family and look forward to working together to help our customers create high-value digital experiences their customers trust.”

Numerify will essentially be a “central nervous system” for Digital.ai’s Value Stream Platform. Its AI-powered analytics engine will advance Digital.ai’s machine learning capabilities, allowing customers to identify and address pain points in development and business value streams. The intent is to help company stakeholders make more tactical and strategic decisions.

Experitest will enhance Digital.ai’s platform with its continuous quality solutions. Experitest provides secure, integrated quality capabilities that are said to reduce risk and errors across all devices and browsers. Experitest can quickly determine the root causes of quality issues, which can help enterprises streamline their IT processes.

Back in April, CollabNet VersionOne, XebiaLabs, and Arxan Technologies announced they were combining and transforming into Digital.ai. The new company is comprised of leaders in business agility, software delivery, and application security.
