Tide Laundromat
.…on bringing Texas’ first “smart” Tide Laundromat to the Whiterock Marketplace in East Dallas, via CultureMap Dallas.
It’s sparklingly bright and highlighted by Tide’s famous orange brand color. But what’s really different about the new Tide Laundromat in East Dallas is how smart it is. The franchised location—at Whiterock Marketplace at 11255 Garland Road—is one of only four to open in the U.S., after three others launched in the Chicago area.
WIth an app from the App Store or Google Play, you can pay for your laundry with a tap on your phone. The app tells you how many machines are open and lets you earn rewards with every wash. And forget about lugging in your own detergent—the “smart machines” dispense their own detergent and softeners with a push of a button.
“Visit us and see how we turn a routine task into something you’ll actually look forward to,” Elverum said in a statement, according to CultureMap Dallas’ Teresa Gubbins.
