Suffolk Hires Business Development Director to Support Its DFW Expansion

Emily Henry has joined Boston-based Suffolk’s Dallas-Fort Worth team as director of business development, supporting the growing demand for construction and the builder’s rapid expansion into DFW.

Suffolk, one of the largest construction enterprises in the country, said that Henry would be responsible for strategically identifying opportunities that support “smart growth” for the company, expanding on recent project wins in aviation, residential, and the public sectors, while “reinforcing the unique Suffolk culture and reputation as the most innovative builder in the country.”...

According to the latest MSCI Inc. estimate, more than $42.5 billion in commercial properties were sold in DFW in 2022. North Texas “wrested the top slot from Manhattan at the onset of the pandemic and has held it ever since,” MSCI analysts said in the report. Dallas-based CBRE was the top-ranked firm for commercial real estate investment sales nationally in 2022—for the 17th straight year.
