From building digital workforce skills to providing broadband access to students in low-income families and impoverished areas, a number of organizations and stakeholders are working to close the digital divide in Dallas and across the country.
Last week, to celebrate the success of its 2018-19 campaign, United Way recognized its local volunteers and donors that played a part in making the financial milestone possible.
Dallas is one of five cities selected to receive the two-year grant, which was awarded to United Way of Metropolitan Dallas by the National Fund for Workforce Solutions.
