At the Global Mission Summit on Oct. 8–10, leaders and innovators are rethinking business—where purpose is infrastructure, profit fuels impact, and legacy means leaving more than returns behind. Behind it are investor Michael Moe and Dallas developer Mike Hoque, and their newly formed Global Mission Institute.
First reported by D CEO, Mike Hoque and Mike Ablon have the iconic 72-story tower and four surrounding city blocks under contract, planning a $350 million redevelopment that includes a luxury hotel, street-level enhancements, and a potential new financial district in downtown Dallas.
In just 15 years, Dallas will be the third-largest city in the country—"that's our destiny," writes developer Mike Ablon. "The only question is—through aspiration, strategy, and dedication to following through—how great a city we can become for all of us."
"Our to-do lists could be written from many perspectives," he says.
