The 2024 recipients of the Mary M. Jalonick Women's Philanthropy Institute grants include Dallas-based Exodus Ministries, which received the lead grant of $150,000, and Dallas nonprofits Abide Women’s Health Services, Urban Specialists, and Vogel, which received $60,000 each.

Each $50,000 Early-Stage Research Grant helps fuel critically important medical and scientific research in North Texas. To date, the 21 researchers supported by The Cary Council have gone on to secure more than $21 million in additional funding.

Founder Janet Jensen began GrantTank to address the isolation and lack of collaboration among nonprofits in the movement to fight sex trafficking.

Southern Methodist University will begin its search for a new dean of the Edwin L. Cox School of Business after Matthew B. Myers, the ninth dean of the business school, announced he will step down from that role by the end of the 2024-25 academic year.
Myers called serving as dean “the highlight of my career” and expressed appreciation for the honor....
