Comerica Bank Promotes Longtime Exec to Fort Worth Market President

As market president, Matt Marchbanks will manage business and community development efforts, including acquiring and strengthening relationships in Tarrant County.

Veteran banker Matt Marchbanks has been named Fort Worth market president of Dallas-based Comerica Bank. He will also serve as the senior vice president of middle market and Business Banking Group manager in that market.

Marchbanks will report to Brian Enzler, director of middle market and business banking for North Texas.

“Matt has played an integral role in establishing our commercial banking operations in the Fort Worth Market,” Enzler said in a statement. “Under his leadership, I’m confident that our team will continue to build long-term relationships and expand our portfolio while helping new and prospective customers meet their banking needs.”

As market president, Marchbanks will manage business and community development efforts, including acquiring and strengthening relationships in Tarrant County.

Marchbanks began his financial services career 25 years ago after completing the Comerica Commercial Banking Development Program, the company said.

During his tenure, Marchbanks has held various leadership roles with increasing responsibility, most recently leading commercial banking for the Dallas-Fort Worth West and South Florida regions. He also served as a North Texas relationship manager for nine years.

Comerica Bank is one of the 25 largest commercial U.S. financial holding companies.

Comerica provides banking centers across the country with locations in Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, and Texas.

Founded in 1849, in Detroit, Michigan, Comerica continues to expand into new regions, including its Southeast Market, based in North Carolina, and Mountain West Market in Colorado. It has offices in 15 states and services 13 of the 15 largest U.S. metropolitan areas, as well as Canada and Mexico.

Comerica reported total assets of $77.6 billion as of March 31.
