Colossal Biosciences spinout Form Bio said it now provides a path for Google Cloud’s Vertex AI-based omics models to be used on a "point-and-click basis." Form Bio said these models "help scientists make more use of increasingly vast amounts of biological data" while speeding up computational aspects of their research.

Dallas-based Colossal Biosciences, the de-extinction company behind plans to bring back the woolly mammoth and thylacine, developed its own software solution "after reviewing everything available on the market." Now it's sharing the platform with the launch of Form Bio.
