Ready to embark on an adventure? Texas Parks and Wildlife is giving you the chance to explore the Lone Star state, capture memories, and even win prizes with its latest Texas State Parks Photo Contest.

As Texas State Parks celebrates its 100-year anniversary, the photo contest is a chance to win park passes, H-E-B gift cards, and a unique, VIP-curated state park experience.

The contest, which kicked off in January with “New Year, New Adventure,”  offers a new theme every season, with four seasonal prize winners selected by a panel of TPWD judges. Those selected will each receive a Texas State Parks Pass valued at $70 and a $100 H-E-B gift card donated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation (TPWF).

One grand prize winner will be chosen through voting in December. The grand prize winner will receive a Texas State Parks Pass, a $500 H-E-B gift card donated by TPWF, and a VIP-curated experience at a Texas State Park.

From watching a gorgeous sunset to catching your first fish, there are countless captivating moments waiting for you in the state parks across Texas that are just begging to be immortalized in photographs, says Whitney Bishop, social media coordinator for Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

“We can’t wait to see the parks through our visitors’ eyes,” Bishop said in a statement.
