Veteran technology executive Steve Maher has joined Dallas-based Monetate as chief executive officer. The leading personalization platform said it aims to build personal and meaningful digital connections between ecommerce brands and their global customers.
Monetate said Maher is a proven leader in scaling AI-driven customer experience platforms and said he’s joining the company as it accelerates its evolution into AI-fueled search, discovery, and dynamic merchandising solutions.

With more 20 years of enterprise technology leadership, Maher has a record of driving hyper-growth through geographic, vertical, and product expansion, Monetate said. Before Monetate, Maher led organizations at growth-stage companies and Fortune 500 firms. The company said that Maher’s expertise aligns with its ambitious vision to transform how companies leverage AI and natural language processing (NLP) to deliver intuitive, personalized customer journeys.
