CellAntenna Wireless announced a new South-Central operations center in Plano, which will join the Florida headquarters and Silicon Valley operations.
The expansion in North Texas will support the company’s growing base of business, Howard Melamed, president of CellAntenna Wireless, said in a statement. “We expect exponential growth for 4G, 5G CBRS, and Public Safety in-building system deployments.”
CellAntenna Wireless has an 18-year background in mobile and public safety tech, and currently installs and commissions Ericsson’s Radio DOT, Corning’s SpiderCloud’s Service and Radio Nodes, as well as other major industry OEMs. Its tech portfolio delivers both 4G and 5G tech and public safety systems.
With the announcement, CellAntenna said it expects to open a fourth location in the northeast market sometime this year.
In January, the company announced that it’s a member of the Ericsson Industry Connect Program. As a partner, CellAntenna can now deliver end to end design, integration, and support services for the new Ericsson Industry Connect private cellular network.
“The Ericsson Industry Connect Partner program is a vehicle for solution providers who offer their technologies as a part of Industry 4.0 ecosystem,” the company said.
It’s a purpose-built solution: Adopting Ericsson’s connectivity solutions allows CellAntenna an option to offer industrial customers a solution that increases productivity, Melamed said.
Erik Josefsson, Head of Advanced Industries at Ericsson, said he’s “pleased to see the growth of consultative practices like CellAntenna that focus on the connectivity that underpins digitalization for Industry 4.0.”
Ericsson works with system integrators like CellAntenna to nurture the ecosystem and ensure seamless and secure Industry 4.0 deployments, Josefsson noted.
CellAntenna International Inc. is a subsidiary of CellAntenna Corporation, a woman-owned small business (WOSB).
