Texas-based AI startup Hypergiant Industries has announced Abidali Neemuchwala’s addition to its Executive Advisory Board as it ramps up its enterprise artificial intelligence expertise.
Neemuchwala formerly served as the COO, CEO, and managing director of WiPro, an India-based global information technology company. WiPro has a large North Texas footprint that includes a 45,000-square-foot technology center.
While at WiPro, Neemuchwala oversaw $8 billion in revenue and 185,000 employees. He specifically led the company into a digital transformation and built a more profitable financial model, according to a statement.
Hypergiant says his experience is a vital step in growing the enterprise AI software and services startup into a billion-dollar business.
“He’s a proven, transformational leader who believes in the power of technology to move a company forward and as such, is a core champion of the Hypergiant business and execution model,” Hypergiant Founder and CEO Ben Lamm said in a statement.
The news comes at a time when Hypergiant plans to unveil details about its AI services integration platform, Hyperdrive. The platform, which will have more information released later this month, is expected to help companies better manage the over 250 AI services companies and products currently in the marketplace.
“The AI SaaS platform that they are working on is unlike anything I have seen and I’m thrilled at the potential to help them bring it to market,” Abidali Neemuchwala said in a statement. “I can easily see it’s massive market opportunity and potential for growth.”
