Why This Global ATM Giant More Than Doubled Its Footprint Near DFW Airport

South Korea-based Hyosung has been a leader in ATM hardware, software, and services in America since entering the U.S. market in 1998. Its new production, warehouse, and storage facility is 66% larger than Hyosung’s prior facilities and aims to help meet its customers' "evolving needs."

Irving-based Hyosung Americas has expanded its presence in North Texas with a new 125,104-square-foot distribution center.

Hyosung Americas has been a leader in ATM hardware, software, and services in America since entering the U.S. market in 1998, and is known for high-tech retail solutions that go “well beyond” ATMs to include TCRs, smart safes, retail and banking kiosks, self-order and check-out, multi-vendor software, managed services, and more

The company’s new production, warehouse, and storage facility is at 4100 Passport Ave. near Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and is 66% larger than Hyosung’s prior facilities.

In a ribbon cutting presentation at the new facility, Hyosung Americas’ Kunoh Kim—who  was named CEO just last month—expressed the importance symbolized by the expansion.

“Today marks a significant milestone in Hyosung’s journey of innovation and growth,” Kim said. “With the opening of our expanded facility, we not only double our production capacity but also amplify our commitment to serving our customers with excellence. This expansion shows our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our global community while reinforcing Hyosung’s position as a leader in cutting-edge technology and banking solutions.”
