Veteran healthcare and business leader Staci Roberts has been appointed chief executive officer of Dallas-based Prolucent, a provider of enterprise-wide healthcare workforce optimization software and services.
Roberts succeeds Bruce Springer, co-founder and former CEO, who will remain on Prolucent’s board of directors and serve as a strategic advisor.
“Staci brings a unique combination of operational insight, proven leadership, and the ability to turn strategic vision into results,” Springer said in a statement. “She’s the ideal person to lead Prolucent through its next phase of growth as we scale and deepen our impact in a workforce environment undergoing transformation. I’m confident Staci will carry Prolucent’s vision forward in new and powerful ways.”
Key roles at Cielo and American Medical Technologies
Prolucent said that Roberts brings more than 25 years of healthcare and business leadership experience, including executive roles at Cielo and American Medical Technologies. Most recently, Roberts was chief growth officer at Cielo—a major player in the RPO industry—where she led global sales strategy, launched AI-driven talent solutions, and played a key role in expanding the company’s presence across multiple international markets.
“Healthcare organizations are under enormous pressure to rethink how they manage and retain their workforce,” Roberts said in a statement. “I believe Prolucent is uniquely positioned to help health systems build smarter, more agile workforces. I’m excited to lead this next chapter of company growth alongside a team that shares my passion for transforming workforce optimization with innovative solutions that deliver exceptional value.”
As president of Cielo Healthcare, Roberts delivered strong multimillion-dollar growth by aligning market strategy with client needs, developing new services tailored to the changing needs of health systems, and optimizing sales performance across geographies, Prolucent said.
Prolucent said Roberts’ appointment reinforces its commitment to solving healthcare’s most urgent workforce challenges with advanced technology, data-driven insights, and a client-centric approach.
The company’s AI-powered solutions—featuring a flexible workforce management platform, talent marketplace, digital front door, and real-time workforce intelligence tools—integrate to empower healthcare organizations to attract, hire, and engage their entire workforce with agility and precision, Prolucent said.
By leveraging the full power of its platform, organizations gain a competitive advantage that drives operational efficiency, reduces labor costs, and enhances core technologies to build a sustainable, future-ready workforce, the company added.
