Fort Worth-based Property Damage Appraisers now offers same-day damage estimates, meaning DFW residents won’t have to wait days to find out the fate of their damaged car or truck.

The company will begin offering the expedited same-day and next-day services in Dallas next month for auto claims.

In business since 1963, PDA also handles claims for such things as over-the-road trucks, specialty equipment, RVs, automobiles, boats, motorcycles, and properties as well as homes and businesses.

Tom Dolfay, CEO of Property Damage Appraisers, said consumers have come to expect speedy service in everything they do. They now have the option of selecting which service they want, though same-day service will come with a fee.

“We’ve been aggressive in adopting and implementing new technologies to help us meet those expectations,” Dolfay said. “New tools like our photo app, mobile appraisal platform and optimizer have significantly reduced our average cycle times, allowing us to confidently offer same-day service to our clients.”

After the claim is assigned, an optimizer tool locates the nearest appraiser who can inspect the vehicle in person.

“We are redefining the value an independent appraisal firm can provide by consistently delivering fast, accurate damage estimates across the country,” Dolfay said. “We believe same-day service will be a powerful tool to help our clients reduce downtime, lower costs, close claims faster, and improve the customer service experience.”

The service has already been launched in San Antonio, Austin, and other cities across the country.

PDA said it completes roughly 450,000 appraisals and lease turn-in inspections each year, and that it has a national team of more than 650 local appraisers.
