Uber and Dallas Entrepreneur Center will bring entrepreneurs and venture capitalists together for a pitch on wheels from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday through the streets of Dallas.
“As a hub for entrepreneurial activity, The DEC is thrilled to partner with Uber and some of our local investors and entrepreneurs in North Texas to provide this great opportunity through UberPitch,” said DEC co-founder and CEO Trey Bowles. “This unique and creative way to connect entrepreneurs to investors all within the extraordinary Uber experience brings attention to some of the growing and fundable ventures at work in Dallas.”

Here’s how it works:
During the three-hour window, venture capitalists will be cruising the city’s street in uberSUVs.
Riders can open the app and request UberPITCH, and if they are connected with a car, they will have 15 minutes to pitch their idea or startup to a venture capitalist, DEC said in a release.
All the UberPitch rides will be free.
The venture capitalists will ask the riders questions about their startups and offer feedback.
