Small business entrepreneurs have until Dec. 28 to apply for a U.S. Small Business Administration course focused on using customer discovery to set new ventures up for success.
“Introduction to Customer Discovery” will teach “Main Street” entrepreneurs, who have launched their businesses or may just have an idea for one, techniques and tips for collecting customer feedback and real-world input.
It’s based on Lean LaunchPad/ National Science Foundation Innovation Corps program curriculum created by serial entrepreneur Steve Blank.
The course will be January 10-31. Participants will be required to attend two in-person sessions at the Addison TreeHouse Jan. 17 and 31. The remainder of the course will be completed on the participant’s own time through customer interviews.
North Texas Small Business Development Center network is one of five sites in the nation trying out the “flipped classroom learning approach.”
