Dallas-based SYNERGEN Health announced that Sunil Konda has been promoted to chief product officer and executive vice president of product and that Shehan Wijayanayake was promoted to EVP of client services.

SYNERGEN, an industry-leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle services and solutions for healthcare organizations, said these moves demonstrate the company’s growth and ongoing commitment to delivering innovative and transformative new revenue cycle solutions, services, and processes.

Since coming to SYNERGEN Health in 2014, Konda has been instrumental in solidifying the company’s position as a transformative innovator in healthcare revenue cycle through the design and implementation of proven technology solutions, robotic process automation, AI, and advanced analytics. As chief product officer and EVP of product, Konda will continue to lead all product initiatives and further the development of new and existing solutions across the SYNERGEN suite of technology solutions, the company said.

“I am honored to be elevated to the role of Chief Product Officer and EVP of Product,” Konda said in a statement. “My team and I have made great strides in transforming RCM technology solutions in meaningful ways that allow our clients to truly optimize their revenue cycle operations. As we look to the future, I’m excited to continue developing more innovative solutions to help our client partners realize significant financial results and efficiencies.”

Serving clients

Wijayanayake has been a part of SYNERGEN Health since 2013 and previously held the position of vice president of client services.

Wijayanayake has more than two decades of experience cultivating client relationships and leading results-driven teams. Throughout his tenure, he has been instrumental in deepening SYNERGEN’s commitment to service excellence and providing strategic guidance to clients, significantly contributing to the company’s revenue, client retention and growth.

“It is with great enthusiasm that I step into the role of EVP of Client Services,” Wijayanayake said in a statement. “My team and I serve as the direct links between our clients and delivery teams. We deeply value the trust our clients place in our company and bring our passion and drive to work daily. With this elevated role, I remain committed to advocating for our clients and collaborating closely with my team to continue delivering the value and high-quality service that our clients rely on.”

The company said that the promotions of Kond and Wijayanayake follow the recent appointment of Robert Marinich as SVP of Sales.
