Abstract: An HVAC system includes a high-pressure subsystem and a low-pressure subsystem. After determining that refrigerant leak diagnostics should be performed, a controllable valve is closed between a condenser and compressor of the HVAC system. The compressor then operates until a predetermined input refrigerant pressure is reached. After the predetermined input refrigerant pressure is reached, operation of the compressor is stopped. After stopping operation of the compressor and waiting at least a predetermined wait time, the pressure in the low-pressure subsystem of the HVAC system is monitored. A rate of change of the pressure in the low-pressure subsystem is determined. If the rate of change is negative and a magnitude of the rate of change is greater than a threshold value, a leak location is determined to be in the low-pressure subsystem.

Patent No. 11579272

Inventor(s): Paul D. Schmalenberg (Ann Arbor, MI), Sean P. Rodrigues (Ann Arbor, MI)
Assignee(s): TOYOTA MOTOR ENGINEERING MANUFACTURING NORTH AMERICA, INC. (Plano, TX)
Law Firm: Oblon, McClelland, Maier Neustadt, L.L.P. (2 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 15929197 on 12/23/2019 (1149 days app to issue)

Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided to calibrate a LiDAR using a reflect array calibration target having a spatially varying spectral reflectance profile. A frequency modulated continuous wave LiDAR emits a beam that spans a range of wavelengths, and, therefore, spatially varying spectral features in the reflectance profile can be used as indicia of where the LiDAR beam hits the calibration target. For example, the center has one absorption wavelength and the periphery has another, such that alignment is achieved by changing the alignment direction to maximize the spectral feature at the one absorption wavelength while minimizing the spectral feature at the other absorption wavelength. Alternatively, at least one spectral feature can have a center wavelength that changes as a function of space. Thus, the LiDAR is aligned by changing the beam direction to shift the center wavelength to a value corresponding to the target center.

A source device transmitting flits on a wide bus selects from among multiple credit return options to ensure that only one of the multiple flits being simultaneously transmitted includes a credit return value. In some example embodiments, the receiving device checks only the flit of one lane of the wide bus (e.g., lane 0) for credit return data. In other example embodiments, the receiving device uses a bitwise-OR to combine the credit return data of all received flits in a single cycle.

Patent No. 11580065

Inventor(s): John Darling (McKinney, TX)
Assignee(s): Dell Products, L.P. (Hopkinton, MA)
Law Firm: Anderson Gorecki LLP (3 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17577464 on 01/18/2022 (392 days app to issue)

Abstract: An Orchestrated Data Recovery (ODR) Cyber Protection Automation (CPA) operates to ensure one-to-one creation of snapsets of a production site and corresponding snapsets of a cyber vault. During an initiation phase, the ODR CPA monitors synchronization of a snapset of production volumes from the production site to the cyber vault. If additional snapsets of the production volumes are created prior to completion of synchronization of the first snapset, the additional snapsets are also synchronized to the cyber vault. Once the initial synchronization of the storage volumes has been completed, the ODR CPA causes a Storage Volume Creation and Management System (SVCMS) to create a snapset of the storage volumes at the cyber vault. Subsequently, each time a snapset is created of the production site, the ODR CPA orchestrates synchronization of the snapset to the cyber vault and creation of a corresponding snapset at the cyber vault.

Law Firm: Zilka-Kotab, P.C. (1 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 15900212 on 02/20/2018 (1820 days app to issue)

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for centralized consent management. In operation, the consent management system receives user selections from a user indicating which user data is capable of being utilized for analysis by a company. The consent management system stores the user selections of which user data is capable of being utilized for analysis by the company in a consent database. The consent management system generates a consent vector corresponding to the user selections of which user data is capable of being utilized for analysis by the company. Additionally, the consent management system associates the consent vector with a consent vector identification. Further, the consent management system tags incoming data with the consent vector identification to associate a user consent with the incoming data. The consent management system stores and encodes the incoming data. Moreover, the consent management system enforces consent restrictions by conditionally allowing access to the stored data by the company based on corresponding consent vector identifications.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described to reduce program disturb for a memory string with a partial select gate drain, which is partially cut by a shallow trench. The memory string with a partial select gate drain is linked with a neighboring full select gate drain that during its programming can cause a program disturb in the memory string with a partial select gate drain. The bias voltage applied to the selected full select gate drain can be controlled from a high state for low memory program states to a lower state for the high memory program states. The high data states may cause program disturb. The reduction in the bias voltage can match a reduction in the bias voltage applied to the bit lines to reduce the program disturb while providing adequate signal to program the high states on the memory string of the full select gate drain.

An encrypted header containing the symmetric key, starting IV and the hash is generated using a public key of the recipient, which is appended to the encrypted file. The encrypted header and associated encrypted file are transmitted to the recipient in any manner. Upon receipt, the recipient decrypts the encrypted header using a private key to obtain the symmetric key, starting IV and the hash, which are used by the recipient to validate and decrypt the encrypted file on a line-by-line basis.

Patent No. 11582668

Inventor(s): Sreekar Marupaduga (Dallas, TX)
Assignee(s): T-Mobile USA, Inc. (Bellevue, WA)
Law Firm: Lee Hayes, P.C. (6 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17468370 on 09/07/2021 (525 days app to issue)

Abstract: A base station of a radio access network (RAN) can be configured to prioritize standalone (SA) 5G traffic over non-standalone (NSA) 5G traffic in certain situations, to improve user experiences associated with 5G-specific services implemented via SA 5G networks. The base station can generally instruct 5G user equipment (UE), such SA UEs and NSA UEs, to prioritize camping on an SA priority band. However, if a RAN load level is at or above a threshold, the base station can instruct NSA UEs to prioritize camping on a different priority band in order to relieve congestion on the SA priority band and/or preserve remaining capacity on the SA priority band for SA UEs. When the RAN load level is above a threshold, the base station can also, or alternately, at least briefly delay traffic associated with NSA UEs to prioritize transmission of traffic associated with SA UEs.
