Law Firm: FisherBroyles, LLP (Local + 17 other metros)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17362563 on 06/29/2021 (434 days app to issue)

Abstract: A bypass plunger combines a unitary or one-piece hollow body-and-valve cage, retains a dart valve within the valve cage portion of the hollow body using a threaded retaining nut secured by crimple detents. A series of helical grooves surround the central portion of the outer surface of the hollow body of the plunger to control spin during descent. A canted-coil-spring disposed within the retaining nut functions as a clutch. The valve cage includes ports that may be configured to control flow through the plunger during ascent. Other embodiments include clutch assemblies using canted-coil springs with split bobbins, and valve stems surfaced to achieve specific functions. Combinations of these features provide enhanced performance, durability and reliability at reduced manufacturing cost, due primarily to the simplicity of its design.

Abstract: An Ethernet switch and a switch microcontroller or CPU are integrated onto a system-on-a-chip (SoC). The Ethernet switch remains independently operating at full speed even though the remainder of the SoC is being reset or is otherwise nonoperational. The Ethernet switch is on a separated power and clock domain from the remainder of the integrated SoC. A warm reset signal is trapped by control microcontroller (MCU) to allow the switch CPU to isolate the Ethernet switch and save state. When the Ethernet switch is isolated and operating independently, the warm reset request is provided to the other entities on the integrated SoC. When warm reset is completed, the state is restored and the various DMA and flow settings redeveloped in the integrated SoC to allow return to normal operating condition.

Modular cable organization system
Patent No. 11432752

Inventor(s): Craig Marion (Livermore, CA), Emil Soleyman (Flower Mound, TX), Paul Simon (San Jose, CA), Tina Asher Marion (Livermore, CA)
Assignee(s): Pragmatic Medical Devices, LLC (Flower Mound, TX)
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 17165459 on 02/02/2021 (581 days app to issue)

Abstract: An assembly for supporting and retracting machine cables, thereby protecting operational components attached to machine cables. A cable organization system includes at least one modular cable management module fixed to a mounting plate that allows mounting of the cable organization system to a machine or other surface. The system has clamps which secure machine cables. The clamps are supported on top of pivoting guide tubes. The cable management modules contain retraction systems which retract the machine cable clamps from an extended position. By utilizing retracting cable clamps on pivoting guide tubes, the system allows the use of operational components attached to secured machine cables, and organizes the machine cables, so that the machine cables do not extend out into the floor around the machine. The system redirects pulling force on the machine cables, so that operational components do not get pulled onto the floor if a passerby catches on a machine cable.

Patent No. 11437823

Inventor(s): Dianbo Fu (Frisco, TX), Heping Dai (Plano, TX), Huibin Zhu (Plano, TX), Xiaolin Mao (Plano, TX)
Assignee(s): Huawei Digital Power Technologies Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen, , CN)
Law Firm: Vierra Magen Marcus LLP (2 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 16741259 on 01/13/2020 (967 days app to issue)

Abstract: A direct current (DC) bus voltage from a combined output of a plurality of DC power modules is controlled based on an alternating current (AC) voltage of a power grid. The DC bus voltage tracks the AC grid voltage to provide efficient conversion between the DC power sources and the AC grid, even when the amplitude of the AC grid voltage varies. In one example, a variable reference voltage is generated based on a detected AC grid voltage. The reference voltage increases and decreases in proportion to increases and decreases in the AC grid voltage. In this manner, large differences between the bus voltage and the grid voltage are avoided. By closely tracking the two voltages, efficiency in the modulation index for power conversion can be achieved.

Mobile profile download via null-authenticated communications session
Patent No. 11438759

Inventor(s): Mun Wei Low (Irving, TX)
Assignee(s): Verizon Patent and Licensing Inc. (Basking Ridge, NJ)
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 17109532 on 12/02/2020 (643 days app to issue)

Abstract: An improved cellular network architecture enables the provisioning of mobile profiles on devices lacking bootstrap profiles. A mobile device transmits an attach request that includes a pre-configured mobile country code (MCC) and mobile network code (MNC) uniquely associated with an emergency data session. The mobile device is then null-authenticated with a subscriber database, and an emergency data session is established, the emergency data session allowing traffic to a mobile profile manager. The mobile device can then download a mobile profile from the mobile profile using the emergency data session. Thus, a mobile device does not require a provisioning profile to download a full (or provisioning) mobile profile from a cellular network as in existing solutions.
