Dallas Data Center Company CyrusOne Appoints Chief Sales Officer

CyrusOne, the worldwide data center developer and operator based in Dallas, is charging ahead with its growth goals by appointing Brent Behrman as its new Chief Sales Officer. Behrman has held various significant leadership positions at the company since 2016.

Brent Behrman has been named chief sales officer at CyrusOne, a worldwide data center developer and operator based in Dallas that focuses on providing digital infrastructure solutions.

In his new job, Behrman will lead the company’s global sales and marketing teams. According to the company, he’ll ensure the company fulfills or beats its growth goals and continues to create partnerships with world-class clients.

The appointment underscores the company’s commitment to helping our customers across the world, CEO of CyrusOne, Eric Schwartz said in a statement.

“Rapidly increasing market demand for data center capacity has created the ideal situation for CyrusOne to thrive by delivering dependable, high-performance solutions for our clients,” he said.

Behrman joined CyrusOne in 2016 and has held many significant leadership positions, such as EVP of sales, EVP of engineering, and EVP of strategy, during which time the company has grown into a strong multinational infrastructure solutions company.

“Given Brent’s long history, experience, and success at CyrusOne as a member of the management team in charge of global sales and marketing, this appointment sets the company up for success as we work hard to expand globally,” Schwartz said.

Optimizing the global platform

Before joining CyrusOne, Behrman was in charge of several things in the data center, software, and telecom businesses for more than 20 years.

“We are improving our organization so that we can service consumers all across the world in our main markets,: Behrman said in a statement, noting that  it’s an exciting time for CyrusOne as it positions the company to “fully take advantage of the huge market opportunity ahead.”

With more than 50 high-performance, mission-critical facilities throughout the world, CyrusOne works to keep the digital infrastructure running for some 800 customers, including about 200 Fortune 1000 firms.
