SB22, a Dallas-based software development firm, is partnering with San Francisco-based PICO to collaborate on the development of next-generation entertainment experiences that combine SB22’s innovative VR22 platform and PICO headset devices.
PICO is a ByteDance company and a leading manufacturer of virtual reality solutions.
“We’re thrilled to join forces with PICO to create the next generation of VR entertainment experiences,” Marko Savkovic, CTO of SB22, said in a statement. “By combining our expertise in interactive sports entertainment with PICO’s industry-leading technology, we’re poised to deliver unprecedented VR experiences that will captivate users like never before.”
The partnership marks a significant milestone in the world of VR entertainment, the companies said. By leveraging SB22’s ability to create immersive and interactive sports entertainment experiences and PICO’s hardware and technology capabilities, the collaboration seeks to transform how users engage with VR content.
Via the partnership, SB22 and PICO will focus on the development of state-of-the-art VR entertainment experiences that cater to sports enthusiasts, gaming aficionados, and entertainment seekers, the companies said. They say the experiences will offer “top-notch realism,” interactivity, and immersion, allowing users to feel as though they’re truly part of the action.
‘Unparalleled experiences’ in VR

While it’s headquartered in Dallas, SB22’s technology hub is based in Belgrade, Serbia, The startup, which was founded in 2021, says it offers the first fully immersive betting and transactional platform that does not rely on any legacy technology and is fully modular and scalable.
SB22 says its team of more than 60 senior engineers is hand-picked with “vast experience” in the sports betting, fintech, and VR industries.
The new partnership sets a benchmark for SB22, the company added.
