Most people don’t think of the Crescent in Uptown Dallas as the place to head for local produce, artisanal foods and handcrafted items, but that’s exactly what will be on sale there starting Saturday when the complex hosts the first of its new monthly farmers markets.
The Dallas Morning News reported that it’s all part of a program to make the 30-year-old property more a part of the booming Uptown neighborhood.
The market will be in the newly renovated Crescent Court nestled away between the complex’s office building and hotel between McKinney Avenue and Cedar Springs Road.
Oh, there will be live music, too, the Morning News said.
