Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty Adds VP for its North Office

The firm said that Jason Bell joins its leadership team with extensive experience and a proven track record in real estate sales and management.

Jason Bell has been named vice president of sales for the North office—Collin County’s growing Plano/Frisco area—of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, a luxury real estate brokerage in North Texas.

The firm said Bell joins its leadership team with extensive experience and a proven track record in real estate sales and management. Most recently, he managed the northwest Dallas branch of another brokerage, where he led nearly 100 real estate advisors to 2023 sales of $280 million.

As a strategic leader, Bell emphasizes recruitment and retention and has been instrumental in enhancing market share, Briggs Freeman said. It added that he has a proactive leadership style and is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive workplace culture.

Bell joins a sales leadership team that also includes vice president of sales Jennifer Edwards (of the Briggs Freeman Southlake and Fort Worth offices), vice president of sales Angela Thornhill (Dallas/Turtle Creek and Lakewood offices and the brokerage’s ranch and land division), and assistant vice president of sales John Kidd.

The brokerage’s executive committee consists of president and CEO Russ Anderson, EVP of marketing and developments Maria Cintron, EVP of information technology Will Stokes, EVP of finance Blair Olmstead, Special Counsel Zareen Brendel, and Thornhill, who also acts as Briggs Freeman’s general counsel.

Founded in 1960 and part of the $143 billion Sotheby’s International Realty network of 26,400 agents across 83 countries and territories, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty specializes in the sale of luxury homes, high-rises, ranches, land, and commercial properties.
