Brazil’s Zallpy Digital Expands to North Texas with New U.S. HQ at The Star in Frisco

CEO Marcelo Castro cited Frisco's "significant presence in the global tech market" as just one reason for making the North Texas city his company's U.S. home base. Zallpy provides custom software development, digital solutions, IT consulting, and outsourcing for companies from startups to Global Fortune 500 brands including BMW.

When Brazil-based Zallpy Digital sought a home for its first international office, it followed the stars to The Star. In Frisco, that is.

Founded in 2009, Zallpy provides custom software development, digital solutions, IT consulting, and outsourcing for companies from startups to Global Fortune 500 brands including BMW. Its strategic move to North Texas was facilitated by Frisco Economic Development Corporation, which noted that Zallpy is the first Brazilian company to establish a presence at The Star in Frisco, the home of the Dallas Cowboys headquarters.

Zallpy CEO Marcelo Castro called the expansion “a strategic step towards tapping into new opportunities.”

“We chose Frisco for several compelling reasons,” he added in a statement, “including its strong local economy, logistical advantages relative to Brazil, high quality of life, and a significant presence in the global tech market.”

Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney said the move underscores Frisco’s “undeniable allure as a magnet for tech innovation and foreign direct investment.”

“Frisco is an innovation hub; and the company’s new U.S. headquarters will fit right into our ecosystem, contributing additional global expertise to our thriving business community,” Cheney added.

Zallpy’s U.S. expansion aims to strengthen its “longstanding collaboration” with clients from in the U.S., England, France, and Germany. According to Frisco EDC, the company aims to boost its foreign currency earnings by over 30%.

On track for a workforce of over 1,000 by end of 2024

Extending its footprint beyond Brazil certainly makes sense for Zallpy: 80% of its clientele is made up of multinational corporations from various industries. That wide international reach has put the company on track to exceed a workforce of a thousand by year’s end, Frisco EDC said.

In addition to its new Frisco HQ, Zallpy has offices in three Brazil locations, Frisco EDC noted. They include the Zallpy Hub in Porto Alegre, ACATE in Florianópolis, and Cubo in São Paulo, Latin America’s largest innovation hub.
