Addison’s Securonix Appoints Chief People/Culture Officer

Former Chief People and Culture Officer at global telecommunications leader Mitel, Paul Gregory, will take his post at Securonix, ready to usher in its next phase of growth and innovation. The company recently introduced an integration with ChatGPT that it said delivers generative AI capabilities within the Securonix Investigate platform to greatly reduce incident response time.

Securonix Inc. has appointed Paul Gregory as chief people and culture officer, a role in which he will be responsible for deepening the organizational talent pool, enhancing company culture, and fostering collaboration across lines of business as the Addison-based company enters its next phase of growth.

CEO Nayaki Nayyar announced the latest addition to the company’s executive leadership team, calling Gregory the “perfect addition” to the company’s executive leadership team.

Nayyar emphasized the value he brings, particularly ing domain of talent management. “His leadership and approach to recruiting and retaining top talent will be critical as we take our next step as a company and fortify our position as the leader in cybersecurity innovation,” the CEO said in a statement.

Gregory brings 30 years of global enterprise workforce leadership experience to his new position at Securonix.

Most recently he was chief people and culture officer at Canada-based Mitel, a leader in global telecommunications, where he oversaw all aspects of human resources and led its workforce integration efforts through multiple acquisitions.

‘A tremendous growth opportunity’

Before Mitel, Gregory was the chief human resources officer at Irving-based MultiView, a digital media solutions provider, where he helped guide it through a period of rapid expansion and scaled its team significantly over five years. In addition to leadership roles at Dell and Cisco Systems, Gregory spent nearly three years at Marconi Wireless overseeing the global human resources function.

Securonix said its platform is purpose-built to defend modern enterprises against advanced threats in today’s complex hybrid environments.

The company pioneered User Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) with an analytics-centric approach to security monitoring. In April, the company brought “Unified Defense” security information and event management to market, which gives organizations 365 days of “hot” data, threat detection, investigation, and response in one simplified platform.
