Ad 2 Dallas Seeks Applicants for Pro Bono Nonprofit Campaign

Applicants must be North Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, Ad 2 Dallas says.

Getting the word out about a nonprofit can be important to its success, and for the fourth year Ad 2 Dallas is seeking submissions from North Texas nonprofits for a pro bono full-service promotional campaign.

Each year, Ad 2 Dallas, a division of the American Advertising Federation, assembles a group of volunteers from Dallas-Fort Worth’s top ad agencies, collects thousands of dollars in media donations, and provides a wide variety of agency services for the nonprofit that is chosen for the pro bono work.

To be eligible, groups must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and must be local to North Texas, Ad 2 Dallas said in a release.

Previous organizations that Ad 2 Dallas has worked with pro bono include Commit! in Dallas, My Possibilities in Plano, and Play Like a Girl for its Dallas campaign.

To be considered, eligible nonprofits must fill out the call for entries form at the Ad 2 Dallas website or contact Chris Petrawski at 214-893-7866. 

The deadline to apply is Friday, and the selected nonprofit will be notified no later than Sept. 7. 

Ad 2 Dallas is a volunteer-based organization for advertising professionals who are 32 or younger. 

It helps up-and-coming professionals gain skills and contacts needed to help them become industry leaders through networking and educational events, public service opportunities, and social gatherings.
