The renovated O.B. Macaroni Co. building on Vickery Street in Fort Worth is celebrating its grand re-opening with a blast from the past.
Honoring the 112 years of the building’s pasta-making past, sisters Jessica Miller Worman and Susan Miller Gruppi, co-owners of M2G Ventures, are bringing in Chef Dena Peterson-Shaskan to provide a deluxe macaroni station. They also are offering wine pairings from an open wine bar with your choice of macaroni.
M2G Ventures has brought new life to the historic Near Southside building leasing space to a collection of local entrepreneurs who will have their work featured at the event.
“We’re changing the face that others have forgotten about,” Worman told Dallas Innovates in June. “We want to make Fort Worth what we want to make of it, and not wait for somebody else,” she said. “We all believe in it.”
Attendees can receive a custom pennant embroidering from W Durable Goods or eat sweet treats provided by Craftwork Coffee Co. and MELT Ice Creams.
Live music also will be provided by local singer/songwriters Kevin Aldridge and Christopher Watson. TexMalt will give away free taste-tests of its home-brewed beers.
After your dinner and show, you can be guided on a tenant tour to show you the updated additions made in the space.
