AnX Robotica Launches Next-Gen Cloud Platform to Support Capsule Endoscopy Solutions

NaviCONNECT offers GI practices and healthcare systems an advanced, scalable platform that improves efficiency and simplifies software updates while providing a foundation for future innovations.

Plano’s AnX Robotica, a provider of capsule-based gastrointestinal (GI) diagnostic solutions, recently launched NaviCONNECT, its next-generation cloud platform. The platform is engineered to support capsule endoscopy workflow, streamline practice management and improve connectivity for NaviCam products.

Through NaviCONNECT, healthcare providers get secure, cloud-based access to capsule studies and reporting, so clinicians can review studies from almost anywhere. The platform also gives GI practices and healthcare systems a scalable foundation that improves efficiency and simplifies software updates, the company said. That foundation, AnX Robotica said, will support future innovations in artificial intelligence and enterprise connectivity.

“NaviCONNECT represents a significant milestone in our vision of delivering a fully connected capsule endoscopy ecosystem,” said Stu Wildhorn, vice president of marketing and product management. “By moving to a secure cloud-based platform, we are providing our customers the option of a simpler, more efficient way to manage capsule studies today while creating the infrastructure to support future AI capabilities, enterprise analytics and expanded clinical workflow solutions.”

Engineered with future technology in mind

NaviCONNECT integrates with AnX Robotica’s NaviCam Small Bowel portfolio, including NaviCam SB with ProScan and NaviCam XS. AnX Robotica also designed the platform with future capsule technologies in mind, the company said.

NaviCONNECT is a key part of AnX Robotica’s broader push to advance capsule endoscopy. The company says the technology enhances workflow, enables new clinical capabilities and improves the experience for both providers and patients.

NaviCONNECT is the foundation of AnX Robotica’s digital strategy, the company said. AnX Robotica plans to keep building new capabilities that support enterprise customers, AI-driven clinical insights and the future of gastrointestinal diagnostics.

More on AnX Robotica

Last year, AnX Robotica received FDA 510(k) clearance for its MotiliCap device and companion MotiliScan software. The non-invasive tool helps clinicians assess whole-gut transit, aiming to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient comfort.

Founded in 2019, AnX Robotica’s roots go back to 2008, when its founders began designing the basic robotic capsule endoscopy technology in Silicon Valley. In 2009, they launched ANKON Medical Technologies, the first company to commercialize a “Magnetically Controlled Capsule Endoscope System.”
