Baltimore Architecture Firm HCM Opens Dallas Office

HCM CEO Tim Barnhill said that with its new Greenville Avenue office, his firm is "strategically positioned to serve the Dallas area and tap into the economic driver that is the DFW market." HCM has already made its mark on the Arlington Entertainment District, among other projects for North Texas clients.

Baltimore-based HCM, a leading architecture, planning, landscape architecture, and interior design firm, has opened a new office in Dallas. The office “better positions the firm to support new and ongoing projects in the area and aligns with HCM’s mission of meeting our clients where they are,” the firm said in its announcement.

Located at 4849 Greenville Avenue within the 16-floor Two Energy Square building, the Dallas office will be led by Monica Robertson, AIA, the firm’s housing/mixed-use studio leader.

Robertson “brings extensive experience in multifamily housing, mixed-use, senior living, and affordable housing projects,” HCM said. She’ll be supported by key members of HCM’s leadership team, including Chris Harvey, Frank André, and Jennifer Harpe, “ensuring continuity, depth of expertise, and access to the firm’s full national resources.”

HCM CEO Tim Barnhill said that with the new office, his firm is “strategically positioned to serve the Dallas area and tap into the economic driver that is the DFW market.”

“As we establish physical roots in Texas, this expansion underscores our commitment to the region,” Barnhill added in a statement.

Made its mark on the Arlington Entertainment District

HCM has partnered with numerous clients in Texas, including Wilks Development, Mill Creek Residential, Crescent Communities, Howard Hughes Holdings, Kisco Senior Living, Erickson Senior Living, The Texas Rangers, and The Cordish Companies. HCM’s work for those last two clients helped make a lasting imprint on the Arlington Entertainment District.

By strengthening its presence in Dallas-Fort Worth, HCM said it aims to leverage more local opportunities, foster closer relationships with clients, and enhance communities with innovative and impactful projects.
