JustPark, a global parking technology company with offices in London and Dallas, has acquired Oobeo, a fast-growing Ohio startup that specializes in valet and permit management software.
The acquisition of Oobeo, a subsidiary of Toledo Ticket, is part of JustPark’s broader strategy to expand its North American footprint. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company said Oobeo’s intuitive, mobile-first platform—already used by more than 6 million people—will be combined with JustPark’s technology, which powers over $1 billion in booking volume and supports more than 40 million vehicles annually. Together, the companies aim to offer scalable, cost-effective parking solutions to commercial operators, municipalities, real estate developers, and institutions like universities.
“As cities grow and evolve, so will the demand for everyday parking products that are fit for the smartphone generation,” Charley DeBow, managing director of North America at JustPark, said in a statement.
DeBow says Oobeo’s technology is designed to reduce fraud, protect revenue, and streamline daily parking needs through contactless valet, on-demand payments, and digital permits.
“We’ve known Mitch for years and have consistently been impressed by his work ethic and exceptional leadership,” he added. “We’re excited to join forces and bring faster, smarter parking to even more destinations across North America.”
Oobeo CEO Mitch Carter will join JustPark as general manager of commercial solutions, with a focus on scaling U.S. operations.
“Just like our team at Oobeo, JustPark has built a thriving business by removing universal pain points in parking,” Carter said. “With a shared mission and a joint approach, there’s a lot more we can achieve.”
JustPark was founded in London in 2006. In March 2024, it merged with Dallas-based ParkHub, a parking software firm founded by local serial entrepreneur George Baker Sr. in 2010. That deal was backed by FTV Capital and LLR Partners. In April, ParkHub adopted the JustPark name globally, and the combined company now operates under the JustPark brand.
The company said the acquisition of Oobeo represents a key milestone in its North American growth strategy and will fuel new innovations aimed at bridging gaps in the fragmented parking ecosystem.

Editor’s note: A previous version of this story incorrectly stated that Toledo Ticket was included in the acquisition. Oobeo has clarified that the deal does not include Toledo Ticket. The story has been updated to reflect that.
