“Artificial intelligence is not going to save the world. But…”

Dallas Regional Chamber
.…on the DRC’s recent report “The Business of Artificial Intelligence” that takes an in-depth look at how Dallas-Fort Worth’s diverse economy “is an incubator for applied AI.”
Griffin may not believe AI can save the world—”But,” he posted recently on LinkedIn, “it might just help your business save money, reduce waste, retain customers, educate your employees, and optimize operational performance.” And a lot of what’s driving these possibilities is happening right here in North Texas.
Last month, the DRC published an in-depth report on the subject titled “The Business of Artificial Intelligence,” which explores how Dallas-Fort Worth’s diverse economy “is an incubator for applied AI.”
Part of the DRC’s economic development series—and presented by Accenture—the report details how a long list of North Texas companies and organizations have helped build a robust AI ecosystem.
The report leads readers through five key sections: The Stakes, The Human Factor, The Ecosystem, The Practice, and Why Dallas. Its two top-line overarching points include a what and a where:
- “Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming how organizations operate, compete for business, and engage with customers.”
- “Dallas-Fort Worth is where talent, industry, and a pioneering spirit converge to apply AI technologies in an innovative, productive, and responsible manner.”
To see why AI is “expanding opportunities for leveraging new technologies to boost productivity, personalize services, and make data-driven decisions”—and why North Texas offers fertile ground for turning those opportunities into success stories—check out “The Business of Artificial Intelligence.”
