The University of North Texas, The University of Texas at Arlington, Texas Christian University, and Southern Methodist University are all among U.S. News & World Report’s top 100 online programs in a variety of categories.
U.S. News decides universities’ rankings based on a variety of factors depending upon the category. The scores are decided by the data that online programs report to U.S. News in an annual survey.
For the U.S. News & World Report ‘s Online Master’s in Education Programs rankings, the University of North Texas and the University of Texas at Arlington placed at No. 20 and No. 35 respectively.
In addition, UNT ranked No. 15 in Best Online Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction Programs, No. 17 in Best Online Master’s in Educational Administration Programs, No. 27 in Best Online Master’s in Criminal Justice Programs, No. 31 in Best Online MBA Programs, and No. 66 in Best Online Bachelor’s Programs.
“I’m excited to see our programs receive this national recognition. We’ve been continuing to develop high-quality online programs and flexible learning options so that we can help students achieve their educational and career goals in a way that fits their lifestyle,” Adam Fein, UNT’s vice president for digital strategy and innovation, said in a statement.
UTA also placed No. 10 in Best Online Master’s in Education Programs for Veterans, No. 20 in Best Online Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction Programs, and No. 10 in Best Online Master’s in Nursing Administration Programs.
Fort Worth’s Texas Christian University ranked No. 14 in Best Online Master’s in Criminal Justice Programs, No. 31 in Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, and No. 17 in Best Online Master’s in Nursing Administration Programs.
Dallas’ Southern Methodist University made U.S. News’ Best Online Master’s in Engineering Programs at No. 74 through No. 94.
