Deloitte released its 2022 Technology Fast 500 rankings and seven Dallas-area companies are on the list. The annual report ranks the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies in North America.
In its 28th year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 honors the most innovative, fastest-growing public and private companies from all over North America. Deloitte said it created the awards program to recognize the passion and dedication it takes to be “an industry disrupter.”
The 2023 application period is April 3 to June 23, 2023.
“This year’s Technology Fast 500 list is a true reflection of some of today’s most determined and inspiring pioneers who have prospered by anticipating what’s next, understanding what’s needed to succeed, and driving creativity forward,” said Christie Simons, partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP and industry leader for technology, media & telecommunications within Deloitte’s audit & assurance practice. “Representing all facets of technology, the winners have shown they not only have the vision but can also manage their companies through rapid growth. We congratulate each winner on their impressive achievements.”
This year’s No. 1 company was California-based Vir Biotechnology with 125,138% growth.
The rankings are compiled based on submitted applications and public company database research, with winners selected based on their percentage fiscal-year revenue growth over a three-year period, Deloitte said.
