Last spring, we gave you a preview of Two Bit Circus, a “micro-amusement park” concept coming to The Shops at Park Lane near NorthPark Center. The venue opens today, offering 35,000 square feet of tech-enhanced entertainment fusing interactivity with the “wonder and spectacle of classic circus and carnival.”
The “micro-amusement park” concept first launched in Los Angeles, and just expanded to its second U.S. location in Dallas’ The Shops at Park Lane, near NorthPark.
Calling itself a “brand new type of social playspace,” Two Bit Circus features multiple indoor zones, including a reimagined midway, an arcade filled with vintage classics and new hits, Story Rooms including an escape room-like experience, a multiplayer VR Arena, and VIP lounges.
With investors including Capital Factory and TopGolf’s executive chairman, the venue also offers “classic carnival eats” along with “molecular mixology” cocktails. Did we mention the robot bartenders?

A new GolfTEC training center has opened in Southlake to help duffers straighten their slices and handle their hooks. The new 2,900-square-foot facility features four indoor training bays powered by TECSwing, using Foresight Sports simulators for lessons, club fitting, and practice. Last Thursday, Water Cooler tenant leadership teams and boards gathered together at Pegasus Park and were surprised with more than $200,000 in prizes to support the missions of their nonprofit organizations. Southern Gateway Park, a planned $172 million, five-acre deck park over I-35 by the Dallas Zoo—just reached a big milestone. TxDOT has completed the foundation deck for Phase 1 of the deck park (seen in the right half of the image above).
